We used to go here a lot. Watched help fill & spread yum yum sauce cups out on table adjacent to us, left the table for a good while before returning. This was during the Covid mask timeframe. Worker wore no mask. Not to dwell on that.... The sushi chefs are very good & workspace clean. Sushi is good & the hibachi plates are too. We go back only occasionally.

The sushi was great, and I'll definitely be back! The Papa Bear was one of the better rolls that I've had in a while.

The sushi was delicious and will definitely come try more! Calamari was good and not chewy! We had great service and great food. One of the best sushi spots in Newnan.

What a surprise. I wouldn't say "hole in the wall", because it's a really nice spot. Seems family owned we had sushi and dumplings and egg rolls. Both the dumplings and the egg rolls needed nothing. Great sauces with them, but even plain were delicious. I had "crazy tuna" sushi? Basically a tuna roll with a pair of sauces and jalapeños and avocado. It was packed with tuna and everything else was in proportion. Again, flavors so good it stood on its on. I was surprised to find a spot that good for sushi outside the perimeter. Will definitely have to try the hibachi next time. I'm a big eater and left there stuffed. Our server was a super nice young man. Really helpful with the menu, friendly as you can be. Great vibe in there.

The food was great and sushi was amazing. Although delicious I wouldn't order the hibachi again the price compared to portion didn't add up.

Great Sushi and Bento. Pleasant staff. When the granddaughters visit this is our must go too! Great little restaurant.

Great food, attentive staff, fresh seafood. Simple yet elegant. Best value for quality sushi on the Southside.

We did two large takeout orders during the pandemic - clearly first visit was good so we returned for a second visit, but now we're questioning even the possibility of the 3rd. I was really tempted to put 3 stars but my COVID buffer still stands. First visit: we placed a phone order and it was smooth. We asked for curbside pickup and it was easy. The food portions were plentiful - we ordered katsu & tempura bentos and it was beautifully presented. We aren't locals but we were for sure to return. Second visit: we decided to treat ourselves this time and ordered the Love Boat for 2. This time, however, we were already off on the wrong foot from the get go. There were at least 3 staff next to the counter (if you've been inside, you know how cozy it is) with one table occupied. Slow day/ off peak I guess. The first staff says hello dryly and points behind her and adds, "he will help you" and resumes talking to the other staff member. Not unfriendly, but almost seems like it doesn't matter if they get my business or not (probably not as the staff anway) so I walk over and place my order. We use the 20 minute wait to do a quick run at Publix and re-entered the establishment to pick up our food. Deja vu, same situation with the staff - two staff talking in the front and one behind the counter. This time, no greeting and perhaps not even worth a verbal communication, the same staff points behind her again and resumes her conversation. When I stare at my takeout bag, I notice there's only one set of soup & salad. I most certainly assume the second set was not given by mistake so I ask the staff, given we ordered a Love Boat for TWO. Just one of each he says. I am a bit stunned for a second (and even doubtful) but assume he isn't joking or speaking out of lack of knowledge so I leave with my food, already disappointed with this visit and we haven't lifted a chopstick. To think that was the worst of it. As for the actual food, at first glance the presentation is great (as with most sushi boats), but few problems here is what contributed most to the negative experience. First, we find in the middle way through that there is white stuff (?) in between the pickled ginger. Hm. Worse, we find there is a dark brown rice grain sized something with two leg like things. Hmm... I will spare you a gross picture, I am sure you can imagine it. Instead, you will see our nice experience photos cause your eyes deserve the better. Even if we aren't close by, this is the closest (authentic) sushi restaurant so we really wanted to like it. Guess we will travel few more miles for another one. Simply put, I don't think we'll be returning for a while.
